Announcement on Most Passionate Book
So this is a book that I've had in my mind since last year and is my most passionate project to date. This is the novel that I cannot live until I've wrote it. It is titled The Woodland Children. The Woodland Children is told through the eyes from an innocent, sweet but depressed little girl who's father committed suicide due to ocd (I have severe ocd and this is something I've related to and as an artist I want to put myself in this story) and through her imagination adventures with the Woodland children, these peculiarly mysterious but heavily happy children who have also gone through things, she learns that there is always hope and happiness at the end of the tunnel no matter who you are, what has happened to you and where you come from, there is always hope and happiness awaiting and that no feeling is final and it also shows both the beauty and wonder of imaginative exploration and imagination in itself through the child's eyes which introduced her with insight into a world of hope.
Who's this for:
This is not for any demographic. I would love children to read it, I would love adults to read it. My saying is "I don't write stories and books for children or adults, I simply write them with human beings" and my hopes with this book is to show even in the darkest at times, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel and imagination can be a major part of that light with it's wonder and hope, it's endless possibilities and how vast you can go with it. I can't wait to write The Woodland Children, I hope people can take away something special from it and I hope the lesson is taught well. Now it's time to get writing... This book isn't to talk down to children and overall human beings who do read it, it's to talk to them. Any criticisms, critiques, feelings, etc I love hearing with my stories and I would love to hear when the book comes out. Thank you :)
