"Daddy!!"I said rushing to my father who was sitting busy with his laptop.
"Sonia,what's wrong?"
""Tomorrow is my birthday!"
"Yeah I know😊"
"What's my gift😍"
"It's a surprise"

Before I finished Dad gave me that look and I immediately knew what he was going to do.
I stood up and went to my room to start my studying.
I was taken away by my books I didn't notice it was already 5pm.

"Cheer up,Sonia.Maybe they forgot it is your birthday"I started hearing my inner voice whispering.
Maybe they had forgotten it was my birthday.
I felt thirsty and went downstairs to take a glass of water.

I was amazed because of how it was dark.
They were all gone outside leaving me behind on my birthday!!
I went and poured water in one of our white glasses.
I started walking to my room but suddenly I felt water on my body making me shiver with a cold.

"What the heck!Ho..."
I didn't even finish my sentence before I heard
people chanting happily "Happy birthday to you!Happy birthday to you!Happy birthday to you,Sonia!"

As I turned around I saw all of my family holding a cake behind me.
The cake was designed like Barbie's house.
I dreamed of having this cake from my childhood.
I was crying happily.
Suddenly my dad stepped forward and came to hug me.

"Sorry,sweetie"
"Thanks,dad"I said happily hugging him.
"No problem.Now do you want to blow the candle,Gem"
Gem was my nickname from a long time ago.
But I really loved it!It made me feel somehow special to my dad.

"Make a wish,Sweetheart"Dad said kissing me on my forehead making me smile.
I quickly blew the candle and wished.

"I wished my dad would stay with me always and become my dad again in our next lives"

This day wasn't that bad after all.
I had the best dad,best friend forever,crush,best siblings,loving mother.
What more one could ask for?
