MOM SAVED ME

The time had come to start my journey. I leaned out of the window, waving as long as I could while she disappeared into the distance. I intended on heading into town, but decided to go into the medow to pick flowers for her, for mother's day. It was a beautiful day so I decided and went to the lake for a swim. I took off my shirt, shoes,and pants and jumped in. The coldness of the water took my breath away, but it was so refreshing. I took a huge breath and descended under the water I open my eyes and saw a cave I decided to enter it. wow this was completely amazing an underwater cave that I have never known existed. it was extremely dark but in the distance I saw a light I decided I wanted to see where the light was coming from so against my better judgement I climbed out of the water and followed a path to see where the light was coming from. it was simply beautiful there were stalactites and stalagmites hanging in the cave the light started to get extremely bright but my curiosity got the best of me and I just kept going and going and going. then the most amazing feeling came over me and I heard a voice guiding me to the light and telling me everything will be okay. My adrenaline completely took over the fear I had. I had to keep going regardless of anything. The light became so bright it was a blinding but no matter what the feeling I had around me made me feel safe and secure. Then from out of nowhere came a voice. Hello my child im here to give you a special gift for mother's day. I really appreciate that sir but could you please tell me who you are. My child he said I am God. I was completely lost for words I was never very religious and was very scared at this point. God said child there's is nothing to fear im here to guide you through your life and I have come to you because your mother prayed to me to save you. Not knowing what to say or what to do I listened very clearly to what God was saying to me. He said precious child the greatest gift you could give your mother would be saving yourself, and Joining me against all the evil that is destroying the world I created. I looked up to him and said God how am I supposed to do that. He very simply said all you need to do is be pure in heart get down on your knees and say Lord please forgive me for all of the sins that I have ever committed in my life. By this time tears we're streaming down my face. I slowly descended to my knees closed my eyes and said Lord I come to you pure of heart please forgive me for all the sins that I have ever committed and guide me in my journey of life so that I can be saved. God placed his hand upon my head and said done. Then he said go now my child and tell your mother that your saved. But before you go I want you to promise me no matter how difficult things get in life you will always have faith that I am here to guide you, I will always love you and I will never leave your side. Things will be difficult but trust me Child you can always call to me and I will be there for you. Then from out of the darkness of the cave I heard my mother's voice. I yelled to her and she appeared.
she said son I'm sorry but I have to go God has come to take me home. Mom said I asked God before I go you need to save my son. I didnt know how to tell you I was dying so I prayed to God. I wanted to be angry but all I felt was overwhelming love. I turned to my mom and said I love you and I will miss you. She smiled and said son I will be with you everyday I'll be watching and waiting for you. I love you son and I'm so proud of you and the man you will become. Now that your saved I must go. I looked at God with tears streaming down my face and thanked him for saving me. God said to me you saved yourself. Happy mother's day mom I love and miss you THANK YOU FOR YOUR SACRIFICE AND SAVING ME.
