The Sun was setting in the horizon. I watched it and wondered should I walk towards it or wait back. My heart urged to wait a little more out of sheer love, but my mind retaliated.
Somewhere inside my heart I knew he would come, as he had promised me to meet me today.
I trust his words coz he has never lied to me, but his past actions are forcing my mind to leave.
I decide to take a pause and calm my mind by taking a deep breath, I can't allow my mind to over power my heart that stores immense love for him.
I had waited for him since one and half year and today was the day that would break all the boundaries and silence between us. Neither of us were to blame for this separation. It was destined to be apart for a while to be eventually perfect for each other. Yes, this separation phase has prepared and evolved me as a better human and a better lover. I hope it has positively changed him too.
As I was thinking about all this, suddenly my phone rings. It was him. I hesitantly received his call and said hello. He asked me, if he doesn't comes then what would I do? I told him that I would wait until he comes back. He hung up suddenly, leaving me clueless. As I was about to come up with some conclusion, I felt a tap on my shoulder. When I looked up to see, it was him. Yes, It was he, smiling at me. He kept his promise and came to meet me. He took my hand in his hands and lifted me up. As I stood up, he hugged me and cried like a baby. I cried too. He apologized me for making me wait. He told me that he always wanted to come back but before that he wanted to fix all the issues regarding our relationship in the family. So, he was working on them. Once everything was sorted out, he decided to meet me up. Now that everything is fine between us, we are ready to tie the knot. Yes, we have decided to get married soon. We both are happy and excited now. Thank u Universe for reuniting us.
