Perfect Essence
There was a vibrant and outgoing Chinese girl named Jing jing. She was always full of life, always looking for new adventures and experiences.
She was adored by others due teh beauty she posses and her friendly personality. Every in the school loves her, she also very smart in Mathematics and English, her favourite subjects.
One day, Jing jing was walking in the park when she spotted a shy and introverted Malay boy named Kinson. She was immediately drawn to him, but thought he would never be interested in someone like her.
She never sees Kinson before, not even once at school but she recognised the school uniform he wear. Meanwhile Kinson, keeps lowering his head as he spots someone from his school is looking at him.
He sits at the swing alone. She feels pity for him so she decided to joins him. She smiles brightly to him, making his eyes a bit widen. No one in school ever take interest in him, not even once. His palms getting more sweaty as he gripped the swing's chain, tighter. Like his life depends on it.
Jing jing decided to take a chance and introduce herself to Kinson. She sits on the swing next to his. To her surprise, he accepted her invitation and the two began to chat. As they talked more, they found they had a lot in common and gradually began to develop feelings for one another.
Jing jing was hesitant to act on her emotions because of their cultural differences and the fact that he was so introverted. But eventually, she mustered up the courage to tell Kinson how she felt by cooking his favourite food.
She cooked him his favourite food that called 'Nasi Lemak Sambal Udang' in Malaysia. It was a dish of the Nasi Lemak that being served with chili paste with fried anchovies, some fried peanuts and sliced cucumber.
He was suprised. He never received this kind of gift from anymore expect his mom. Only his mom knows his favourite food but his lover knows it without need him to tell her what it was. It's feel like a sweet dream comes true. He was on cloud nine. He shyly takes the food.
To her delight, Kinson reciprocated her feelings and the two began to date. Jing jing was amazed at how open and communicative Kinson was with her. She found herself falling deeper in love with him and learning more about him every day. Together, Jing jing and Kinson shared many wonderful moments and were able to overcome any obstacles that came their way.
They graduated highschool with flying colours. To everyone suprise, Kinson got straight A's while Jing jing's is straight A+'s. They enrolled in the prestigious university together, with proud and a hint of nervousness.
Jing jing chooses to further her studies in medical field while her boyfriend walked into the English Literature course instead. Jing jing knows, Kinson are a really good poet and he had written her several poems before.
Despite seperating to chase their own dreams, their bond only grew tighter. Both of them stay loyal to each other. Kinson often waiting for her after class in the library so they could study together and shared new knowledge. It's become of their favourite activities.
Unbeknownst to them, Jing jing's family wanted her to only be with a man from the same race which is Chinese. When her family find out that she dated a Malay boy from a poor background, they frowns at her way.
They told her that Kinson wasn't the best match for her. Pearls trickling on her skin, she pleaded her parents to give Kinson a second chance. To let him prove that he worth her time.
Her parents' heart melted by her pleas. They reluctantly giving in. Kinson falls on his knees and thanks both Jing jing's parents and promised to them that he will take a good care of her.
As time passes, Jing king's father was slowly growing found of Kinson. He likes how the boy are so soft spoken and often offer a hand to his wife in the kitchen. Kinson even beings some homemade foods while visiting Jing jing's parents.
But how about his parents? Are they even approved his relationship with her? To his suprise, they did. They take interest in her passion to be a neurosurgeon. They blessed teh couple. Silently happy for their son's choice.
They eventually married after she converted into Islam and lived a happy and fulfilling life together. She worked as neurosurgeon in Japan. Kinson is longing for his wife but also filled with pride of her achievement. He now works as a English Literature lecture in Unitar, an international university in Malaysia.
His students loves him as he teaches them with patience. His teaching technique are more to hands on activities so his students gets more experience on how to write poems, stories and etc. In the end, he get awarded for his achievements and his students gets the highest results.
