'sigh'!
I woke up thinking about all the things that had happened yesterday. I came here to find out more about my mom and what she could have left behind, now I am rethinking things. I mean should I really search for this or just go home and pretend this whole thing never happened— that would be easier— but I need to find out what she left for me.
The reason I had second thoughts, cause this is my childhood house, the house that held all my nightmares.
"Good morning Amy, it's time for you........u.......": Shubaru, my best friend walk into my room with a plate in his hand– all dressed up,"what's wrong":he knows me so well.
"I was just wondering, if we should go back home."
"What are you talking about Amy, you are home!": he said
"This place was never a home for me Shuba, there are so many bad memories in this house.": I really just want to leave.
He thought for a while: "This was always a home for your mother Amy."
At that moment something clicked: "you are right, this was always a home for my mom, so this place would be the best place to hide something special... don't you think, it could me possible."
"You think your mother kept it in this house": he was shocked.
I smiled: "she could have hidden it here, let's start looking!"
"Ok but let's eat breakfast first": I showered and got dressed and went back to my room, Shubaru was sitting on the bed when I walked through the door.
We sat at my study table— that I never used— and had breakfast together.
"Amy, can I ask you something?": he had that—I need to know something— look on his face.
"Anything!": I was a little worried about whatever he was going to ask.
"Why haven't you dated anyone yet.": what the hell kind off question was that, I wanted to scream.
"I guess the right guy hasn't come along": I was not going to tell him that he was the reason.
I turned to him and our lips met, we both moved away, looked at each other in shock.
We got up from the table and I was leaving the room when he pulled me close to him.
"What are to doing?": I asked.
My heart was beating so fast I was sure he could hear the sound. Shuba lifted one hand to the back of my neck while the other, he left at her waist. He slowly came closer as his lips brushed mine and he kissed me, my first real kiss. When he realised what was happening he pulled back: "I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me. Please forgive me?"
