Chapter 30: The Last Chance
Ryan carefully carried Myra in a wheelchair and helped her and her parents into his car. He drove them home. He was quite happy he didn't have a family for a long time. They talked and laughed throughout the way. Once they reached Myra's parents' house, Ryan picked up Myra in his arms and carried her inside while Myra couldn't stop giggling at him. Ryan asked, 'Hey, what is wrong?' Myra giggled and said, 'Well, it feels like we just got married, and you are carrying me home.' They all started laughing. Ryan tucked Myra in her bed, made sure she was comfortable, and kissed her gently. He said, 'Rest, my love. We will need all the strength in the next few days. After all, we have a battle coming up.'
