The sun was setting in the horizon. I watched it and wondered should I walk towards it or wait back. The sea always signified a sense of freedom. Having grown up by the coast, I learnt to love the calm ocean and respect the turbulent waters.
In a way, the sea resembled life. Sometimes there was barely a visible ripple and sometimes the waves were huge.
If there's anything I learnt from the time I spent swimming in deep waters was to go with the flow and stay afloat.
Have you ever been caught in a current and found yourself getting pulled out away from the shore? There's probably nothing scarier. The trick is to stay calm. Sometimes life is like the sea, it sweeps you off your feet and the trick here is to refrain from panicking. All you have to do is keep swimming!
