I was tensed, and a bit confused. Why?
Well, the reason was that I was on my first official date with a girl.

Sounds too weird for a 22-year-old to be on a first date? but that's the fact.
I sat there sipping my cold coffee which was the only company for the time being.

I looked around just to see if she had arrived and She was there on the gates of the cafe dressed up in a Black leather jacket on a white casual shirt which was perfectly complimented with a dark blue skirt that ran down to just above her thighs.

A pair of ankle-high boots made her look even taller than her original height.

I stood up just as her eyes spotted me and I passed a smile while waving my hand.
She smiled back and walked towards me.
My mind was having bundles of thoughts as she approached me.

Hi, I said finally, pulling out the chair for her to sit.
That's sweet of you she said and to my surprise gave a smile that blew me away.

Finally meeting you I said. It's been a long wait.
Honestly speaking, same here she said.

I was not sure whether she would like me in person or not but she was much franker than I expected.
"So how are you"? she enquired adjusting her hairs.
"I am pretty tensed with the fact that it's my first date ever" I replied with a bit of hesitation.
"Seriously"? she looked at me with a surprised look.
"Yup, I said taking a sip of my coffee".
"It's obvious that you are tensed," she said with a sly smile.
"Why is that so"? I asked looking at her.
"The fact that you are trying to have a sip of coffee from a cup that is empty helps a lot," she said and giggled.
I had no option but to laugh at the behaviour

"You are by far the most modest guy I think I have talked to toe," she said and my spine felt a blot of shock as I felt her fingers curling up on mine.
I looked up at her and she was blushing, but I knew mine was more evidently visible.

I was in love with that girl.
