Pluviophile: a word that is said said to person who finds joy and peace of mind during rainy weather. A person such as myself.

When the sky becomes grey, and people run to their houses for shelter. Only I would remain outside.

The feeling of raindrops brushing my skin, moist air filling my lungs, and only the sound of rainwater hitting the ground can be heard. No humans walking on the streets, talking nonsense. Not so many vehicles passing by, disturbing me with their engines. Not even birds and their tweeting seem to exist.

All that comes to my ears is the voice of the world finally speaking, talking to me in a tone so soothing and calming, as if intentionally attempting to comfort me while I walk on puddles of water, playing in them, and enjoying the peaceful moment.

On days like these, I feel like all my worries and sorrows are gone. And everything seems to be ever so...innocent.

I just can't help but see beauty in the rain.
