Chapter 02
I don't know why people say that there's no place like home. This morning I'm feeling like there's no home to feel home at all.. May be I'm sick or it's the whole lonely summer thing again😟..Just then mom comes in " Get out of bed this instant! How much sleep do u need for doing nothing all day"! Arrrghhh😠😠.. I wanted to argue but I didn't.. I for out of bed n went straight in the rest room.. I could hear her hollering "Tidy up ur bed n ur messy room"!! Honestly my rooms always neat n tidy, except this morning I was lost in another world.. I showered but forgot to brush my teeth 😬.. Até breakfast anyways and went back in my room to clean up. Ten minutes later I tried to call up Raymond but damnn... He's already gone😔. I hurriedly dialed up Hukavi's, his dad picked the phone saying he's already left for his granny's.. I tried my best to keep my composure but lost it.. I ran right out in the garden n uprooted some of my mom's tulips.. But few seconds later I had to put them back in the mud which looked like some zombie tulips😁.. Which means I'm for trouble when mom sees it. I just went in the house searching for my mom.. At last she was doing the laundry.. I went up to her m said tht some neighbors dog had uprooted her tulips😁.. She was furious. But I told her not to worry, as I has already put them back in the mud😎. Usually I'm a bad liar.. I can't lie.. But this morning I felt like a pro at lying😋.. Anyways I had a few things to buy. I told mom where I was headed to n grabbed my back pack, took some money from my personal savings.. I had to walk since I had no bicycle. Fifteen minutes later I reached the grocery store 🥵.. I wanted to start my summer by baking a cake🙂. I bought some baking flour, bakimg powder.. whatever is needed for a cake. I felt very happy tht I smiled at myself.. The store owner asked me what I had been planning to do with it. I said it's a personal celebration of being on ir own. He laughed our loud not intended to hurt my ego n I respect this man alot for tht. He gave a pack of chocolate powser for free saying tht it was an old stock but food enough to b eaten. I gladly rook it having no idea how to use it. I said hv a great day n left. It didn't rkae much time to reach home. I guess its the happy feelings tht made it all short n easy. I reached home but the door was locked. Mom was no where to b seen. I guess ahe went to the market or to her friends 🤨.. Anyways I found the key in the secret spot opened the lock n went to the kitchen..
