Embracing Happiness
"Your feelings are valid."

As Simran Gill said in one of her comments on my poem, "Self-love is a crucial part of healing." I think that's right, I am healing day by day, and I am being happy day by day, baby steps as they said, loving yourself means accepting who you are, understanding yourself, and most especially self-care, and sometimes you talk to yourself and that's okay, your feelings are valid, be kind to yourself.

Happiness is not a special part of my childhood, so I won't let anyone take that away from my adulthood; I know that it won't be easy, but I'm gonna try; there's no harm in trying, right? As long as you don't harm other people, you will create your happiness, not other people, not your special someone, not your parents, but yourself only, you don't let other people validate your feelings, be sad, be mad, be happy if you want too.

"You are beautiful when you smile." As they said, it's okay to cry sometimes. That's part of everyone's life, love is the highest form of life and happiness, happiness comes from within, when you smile it spreads, so smile often, take it with you, own it, and conquer the world with your smiles and laughs, give smile to other people as much as you can, you are not alone in this journey, I'm here, your partner in crime and your friend.

You are lovely always remember that just learn to say no when you don't want that, LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE, the 3 L's you have to live by every day, don't just exist, live for the moment, this journey is on you, this is your magic, be the way you want to be, grab each day to be happy, don't be too hard on yourself, make each day wonderful, no to negative thoughts, make it happen, shock the world, be happy for every day of your life, now I'm officially saying "No more to sadness and anger and it's time for me to be officially happy."
