into the darkness
John had always felt like there was something off about himself. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but he had a nagging feeling that he wasn't alone in his own body. And then, one day, he saw himself walking down the street, but it wasn't him. It was his evil doppelganger.

At first, John thought he was losing his mind. He tried to ignore it, but the doppelganger kept appearing more and more frequently. And everywhere he went, people were talking about the horrible things that "he" had done. John knew it wasn't him, but he couldn't convince anyone else.

The doppelganger was ruining John's life. He lost his job, his friends, and his sanity. He became a recluse, holed up in his apartment, afraid to leave for fear of running into his sinister counterpart.

One day, John decided that enough was enough. He had to confront the doppelganger and put an end to this madness. He armed himself with a knife and went outside to search for his doppelganger.

He found him standing on a street corner, smoking a cigarette. The doppelganger turned to face John, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Then the doppelganger spoke.

"You know, John, we don't have to fight. We could work together. We could be so much more than just one person."

John was taken aback. He had never considered that the doppelganger might actually want to work with him.

"What do you mean?" John asked.

"I mean, we could do whatever we want. We could be unstoppable. We could rule the world."

John hesitated. He knew that this was a terrible idea, but a part of him was intrigued. The doppelganger could make him powerful, and he could finally get revenge on all the people who had wronged him.

In the end, John made the wrong choice. He joined forces with his evil doppelganger, and they set out to wreak havoc on the world. But as they plunged deeper into darkness, John realized that he had made a terrible mistake. He had let his own evil consume him, and now there was no turning back. #doppelganger
