Write a short story from your past that involves light or darkness in some way.
This is a true and unbridled story of how I pushed the light out with the blackest darkness. I used to live in the brightest of lights. Living daily for my Lord. My life was so good then until I let the darkness in. The blackest of dark consumed my entire life. Changed me as a person but also brought out someone new. This new person of whom I discovered, was not all bad. She was able to use writing to her benefit with poetry. This was all so new to her, and felt that this was and is a gift. The darkness I speak if is none other than addiction. It is a struggle one we fight daily. It's not easy and there is no easy way out.
