HALLUCINATIONS

The footsteps following me sounded closer. I ran through the empty corridors of the hospital, my heart pounding with terror.
I turned a corner and stopped short. I had reached a dead end. What do I do? How do I tell someone that am been followed?I walked closely to each wards seeing sick patient everywhere, even the doctors and the nurses are running helter-skelter to attend to patient and those that in the emergency ward as well. Am in a state of dilemma, so I sluggishly walked up to the receptionist and narrated my ordeal to her and she told me that I should wait? How can I wait when my life is in danger? Do you want me dead? What kind of hospital is this? That someone can not be safe here? ( question popping through my mind) so I console myself, since this is the dead end am ready for anything. At least if I die here, the doctors and the nurses will be a witness, no what if the murderer made them to think that it was a suicide, that I was mentally sick that was why I decided to take my life. Who will ever believe that I was murdered because it was a big conspiracy. All the same, there will always be a clue somewhere to find out. Lo and behold, it was all hallucinations. And I said to myself, Babe calm down, its just your thought and nothing more. Have a blessed day.
