Brief flashback...

As soon as Markins settled in the taxi, memories came rushing back.


Markins and Junia were the only children of Raphael and Shirleen Jehos; both were of black American blood and had lived most of their lives in the United States of America.


Both Raphael and Shirleen never had a religion, not to mention a spiritual worship lifestyle; they lived like atheists but were a little different in the sense that they knew a God existed over all, but they failed to acknowledge his sovereignty over them.


Markins and Junia were trained as normal children while growing up, but not in a spiritual setting. Markins recalled vividly how his dad had at one time left home after a serious contention between him and his wife (Shirleen), which led to a physical assault on her.


A few weeks later, Raphael returned home, but not with the aim of reconciling with his family; instead, it was to grab any amount of money that was available in the house.



Shirleen rushed out of her room to grasp on the sudden eruption of a hurly-burly as she gleaned on the masculine voice screaming and threatening.


"What do you want now?! Why are you here?!" Shirleen yelled!


"Shut the door and get me cash now!" Raphael yelled back while rummaging through every corner; he knew he could find money.


Shirleen felt perplexed as she panted in a furious mode.
