THE TIME WHEN I FAILED , PART - 11
Neeraj slapped Aditi but the owner and his wife didn't quite react. But everyone present in the restaurant including the waiters, chefs and the customers were talking about them. Everyone was even saying that they are not saying anything because Neeraj is from a very rich family. And if they say something to him, he might get angry and cancel the wedding so they think it is better to stay quiet. The owner and his wife were hosting dinner for all the waiters, chefs and their relatives.
So, everyone was leaving for home as after changing their clothes they have to go to the owner's house. The owner and his wife sat in the car with Neeraj. The driver was taking them to Neeraj's house as they were picking up his parents and sister. And then they were going home. The owner has asked me to drive Aditi home too. As everyone has left for home, I could finally talk to her. She had a cream in her hand. She was applying it on her cheek. He slapped her so hard that his hand was pressed on her cheek. Even after applying the cream, you could see and easily tell that someone has slapped her.
She asked me, Are you mad at me ? I replied, Ofcourse I am. Your very rich fiance slaps you infront of everyone and your parents say nothing. I am angry because even you don't say anything. We wanted to tell them about our marriage but how will we, When your fiance is here. They will never ever agree to our marriage. Do you know why ? Because I am not rich and I don't wear expensive tuxedos or travel in expensive cars. But Neeraj does.
They think that if your future husband has a lot of money, has big houses, expensive cars and wears expensive clothes. He will keep you happy. They continue to think that even after he slapped you infront of everyone. Aditi, I don't have a big house, I can't travel with you in expensive cars and I wear normal clothes. But I would never slap you. I will keep you happy by giving you love and respect. I don't think that money can keep you happy. After all this if you still think that I can't keep you happy, I won't force you to get married to me but remember that I love you and I will always keep you happy. I walked out of the restaurant and sat in the car waiting for Aditi.
