Chapter 5. Taking Care of Yourself

Whenever we say goodbye to our loved ones, we also say take care along with bye. This means till now we were with you so took care of you, now we are leaving so you take care of yourself. Hehehe...! It is understood that we are reminding them to take care of themselves. We remind you because in today's busy lifestyle people forget to take care of their bodies and mind. It is necessary to work, it is necessary to leave home for work every day, it is necessary to take care of our children and family, it is necessary to eat food, it is necessary to wear good clothes, it is also very important to be happy. All these are necessary but it does not seem so important to exercise, meditate, or do yoga, whereas apart from these, all the other activities mentioned above which seem very important, all the activities depend on these activities to be done well. Especially being happy. Because while performing all the other responsibilities, sometimes we get so tired and frustrated that no matter how hard we try to be happy, we are not able to be happy. Fatigue makes us physically weak and despair mentally. That's why taking care of yourself means keeping yourself healthy both in body and mind.
