Shalin and Anu's bond became more strong after that incident but after few days there was an announcement by the principal of their school that on 5th August ( Teacher's Day ) there is going to be a celebration and they wanted four anchors.
The criteria for the anchors was as follows:-
1) Anchors should be of class 9th
2)There should be at least two boys and two girls.
3) One pair will be anchoring for the junior classes (1-5) and the other pair for Senior classes (6-9).
After all these four anchors were selected Aryan,Mary,Anu and Shalin.
Aryan and Mary were one pair and Shalin and Anu were the another pair.
Basically,it was a coincidence that Shalin and Anu were together.On the very next day Shalin called Anu for the writing of the anchoring script because it was their free period and after spending 5 mins with Shalin,Anu decided that she won't be doing the anchoring. She told her decision to Shalin and he was shocked.
Shalin asked the reason for the sudden change and she told that she was not ready for it. ( Basically,Anu had stage fear ).
Shalin didn't knew that Anu had stage fear and he was tensed because he started to think that it was all because of him but later on it was clarified that it was not because of him.
After few days,
One of Anu's friend came to Shalin and asked him if he liked Anu.
Shalin asked why are you asking this because no one knew about this.
And they said because there is a rumor that you like Anu and she is getting irritated by it because she doesn't feel the same for you and many of your friends are teasing her.
Shalin knew if he would reply Yes he will be losing both the friendship and this bond but he didn't wanted this to happen so he replied," No,I don't like Anu" and after this he was broke but still gathered courage and tried to talk to Anu but as he was going to talk to her. One of her friend came and she said that don't worry Anu is not going to break the friendship bond with you because she knows that you don't like her and she wants to be friend with you for all these school years and Shalin took a sigh of relief.
Something shocking us going to be happen in the next few episode.
