Deep secrets
The waves peacefully crashed upon the shore, as I miss the one person I can't live without. The moment of which I feel like I can't breathe. His touch, his voice, his scent surrounded me as the memories came flooding back to me. I lost my memory after a horrible accident. It was supposed to be the best day of our lives. All I remember was his words that haunted my mind, that kept me from letting him go. Flowers had just began to open as the season of spring had started, the city was in the glow of the sunlight. Waking up wrapped in silk white sheets next to him, I couldn't help but look into his beautiful green eyes. He stared back into my mine, as he runs his built arms around me whispering in my ear "I love you!" I smiled the happiness and joy filled the glow in my face. I shyly left the bed, into the bathroom I went to take a shower. He decided to join me, as he was about to enter the shower his cell phone rang, he was late for work. I didn't want him to leave but he dried off got dressed and rushed to work leaving a surprise for me on the bed, wrapped in red ribbons layed a small box with a diamond ring inside. The tears of joy flow from my eyes my morning had just gotten better and it wasn't over yet. I got dressed for work and I wore the ring to show off my proposal to Stephen. Everyone was happy some wasn't intentionally happy but pretended to be. Stephen sent flowers to my office and a note with the words join me for lunch I await your answer . At lunch we spoke and laughed I was having a great time, now it was time to give my answer to his question. I looked up and with no hesitation I said yes, but life turned the tables on us at that moment. A speeding car ran into the restaurant where we were having lunch. The car made its way through the glass window heading directly to us when I felt the force of Stephen pushing me out of the way while the car smash him to the ground. I fell hitting my head on the floor. On that tragic day I lost Stephen the car had killed him. I woke up in the hospital with no memory of what happened or who Stephen was. Since that day I got dreams of seeing Stephen being ripped out of my life the screams and the horrid memory was still haunting me. I stood by and watched my life faded away I couldn't sleep because of the fear of seeing that moment I couldn't eat because everything tasted as if I was still having lunch with him. Nine years had passed I quit my job and stayed in doors. With no memory I was afraid to trust anyone I kept to myself. I had no friends my life was destroyed I had no family either I was completely alone. With the only thing I remember was his words Stephen always believed in exploring and visiting new places to see new things and he said never stop believing in magic because it can happen any where! It drove me crazy I didn't know what to do I drowned in my misery trying to remember what happened to me. One day magic happened, a magican came to town. He ended up staying in the same building as I did. Unknowingly I went down the stairs to speak to the land lord. I hadn't paid any rent since Stephen died and I was being evicted that very day. The magican on the other hand had a completely different life he liked to be free and out in the open exploring what ever magic he could learn. One look at me he knew something was wrong with me. I was so carried away trying to reason with the landlord for me to stay a little long that I never noticed he was looking at me. Frustrated and angry I went back to my apartment. I slammed the door behind me, I sat behind door crying feeling sorry for myself when I heard the sound of something falling I got up and immediately opened the door and he was there. The magican got the apartment across from me the noise I heard was him dropping his bags to open the door to his apartment. He turned around and kindly said hi. I didn't care I slammed the door on his face. Confused he let it go and settled in. I knew I had to start looking for a new job because if I didn't start paying for my rent I'd be on the street. The next day I rushed out the door running into my new neighbor who was just leaving for a morning jog. He said Hi again except this time I returned the favor and said hi as well. He introduced himself as Matthew I was so in a hurry I just walked away from him making him more interested in me. Later that evening as I was hired for a job as an event planner I had to work at a magic show which happened to Matthews show. I had no time to watch the show I had to make sure things were going smoothly. Matthew on the other hand didn't want to lose a chance in getting to know me he followed me around. When he got my attention he asked why was I so depressed and sad. I felt comfortable talking to him. for the first time in nine years I could of opened up and say how I felt. I was sure Matthew would run for the hills but he stayed and offered his friendship. After that Matthew and I were great friends we spent a lot of time together while talking one day Matthew said he had to leave to do a show in Italy I wished him luck when he said he wanted me to go with him. I have never seen Matthew do magic so I was excited to see what he had in store for me. the day of the trip was here and I asked Matthew to help me pack and while going through my closet Matthew found Stephens journal. I never read it or seen it since I couldn't remember if he kept one. Matthew asked about it when I explained what happened and that I don't recall anything Matthew knew something was wrong he decided to cancel his trip just to help me find closure. Matthew searched high and low to find what ever he could about Stephen just to jog my memory. Matthew came across a picture of Stephen and he realized he has a deep connection with Stephen they were best friends and the day of the accident Matthew was supposed to come visit Stephen but his flight got delayed. Matthew broke down into a million pieces and realized that he had lost his best friend and the only way to make me remember was to go back to the place of the accident. Unknowingly Matthew took me to the restaurant where I lost Stephen and he made my sat near the very window where the car drove into . I look out the window and I felt uncomfortable and very uneasy that's when my I remembered my nightmares it came to me like a storm Matthew broke a wine glass on purpose and realize I was started to remember hearing the crashing of the glass I began to see the picture of Stephen dying in front of me seeing myself lying lifeless on the floor I couldn't breathe I ran out of the restaurant crying and Matthew followed me I found myself on a beach looking out to the horizon as I remembered my life with Stephen I couldn't believe how happy I was. It was the closure I needed Matthew hugged me an apologized for putting me through the stress and he explained why he did it he for the first I realize Matthew was just like Stephen his eyes his voice his beliefs I had fallen hard for Matthew and I didn't want to let Stephen go. the strangest thing happened after was I felt the urge to kiss him and I did from them I knew Stephen never left me as long as he lived in my memory 3 year passed I moved in with Matthew life was great Matthew encourage me to write an I told this story because I never stop believing in magic it lives within us and magic happens everyday Matthew was sent. by Stephen to make me happy and to embrace what truly matters and that moment makes us realize that no matter what we go through someone will always be there to speard the magic thats already inside of us
