THE NEW FRIEND

After spending sometime by the waterfall
Dhruv and Kanika returned home... after dropping Kanika, Dhruv just wanted to be by himself for a while..... ......

Dhruv sitting alone in a corner near the city park started crying like a kid.... talking to himself... .....

Dhruv - Why can't she love me? Am I not a good guy? Doesn't she know me? I understand her like no one can... then why?

AFTER A WHILE ..... when he realized it's getting dark he decided to go home......
When he reached home he directly went to his room and slept.

THE NEXT MORNING......


PHONE RINGS......

Dhruv - Hello..!

Kanika - Get up yrr..... are you still sleeping? Are you serious? We have to reach the college by 10 there's some notice in the college group....
Get up....

Dhruv - Aahhh! calm down I will there in a while.... stop panicking..... relax

Kanika - haaaaaa... hurry up

Dhruv hanged the call.....

Dhruv got up....... freshened up and got ready to leave.........

Dhruv looking at his face in the mirror..... damn my face she will notice this swollen face... (he was a bit anxious and tensed and awkward) Anyways he just putting a smile left....

DHRUV reached at Kanika's house...
Kanika was waiting for him.... by the side..

Kanika - Oh God! Thank you for being on time. (Kanika noticed dhruv's face... Dhruv realizing this hurried kanika to sit... )

Kanika - what's wrong with your face? what happened? tell

Dhruv - Nothing..... just a hot convo with dad....... just didn't end well..? And avoiding further questions he started the bike)

They both reached......... college

While entering the class some called for Kanika

Kanika... hey Kanika....

Kanika - (looking back) Ashewesh she asked in a surprised voice .

Ashwesh - Yup.... can we talk for a while?
(Kanika said yes and so Dhruv too stood there)

Ashewesh - Can we both talk alone? (he said staring at Dhruv. Dhruv pissed)

Dhruv - Talk to her.... I am just standing here.....

Kanika seeing the chance of spat told Dhruv to wait she will come back in a while... (Dhruv giving a angry glance at Ashewesh left)

Dhruv - Hmm

After Dhruv left....

Ashewesh - Are you interested in singing?

Kanika - Yeah! I mean I am not that good, but I love singing. Why?

Ashewesh - I have heard you.... You sing really well? Don't mind me asking could you be my partner? Ashewesh asked nervously

Kanika - with a confused face What?

Ashewesh - Singing partner.....
Kanika - huh..... no no.... please ask some one who is really good.

Ashewesh - No ... You are the best? Please help me here?

(Kanika seeing his helplessness )

Kanika - Okkkkkk..... I will try...

Ashewesh - (hearing this hugged her tightly and said) thank you, my love ty...

Kanika - Felt like raise in heart beat..... don't know why she felt something......

(Ashewesh left after waving a bye to Kanika)

Kanika entered the class... sat by Dhruv and told him everything.....

Dhruv - Are you sure about singing with this guy?

Kanika - Yeah... he is a sweet guy?

Dhruv - Sweet. ... hehhe my foot.... he is a jerk I am telling you.

Kanika -( ?making a face said) stop judging him.

Soon all the students were call for the announcement.......

THE COLLEGE FEST WAS TO BE HELD........

Kanika - Ohh... so that's why he was asking me?

Dhruv - Hahaha.... don't tell me you thought he wanted to spend time with you? LMAO......

(Dhruv said teasing Kanika)

Kanika was a but embarrassed... cause she really thought that. After the announcement they both went to the cafeteria........

When Kanika and Dhruv were having coffee Ashewesh reached there

Ashewesh - Kanika! You heard about the fest na...... We both are going to perform there?

Dhruv - Ignoring him said Kanika you want something else to eat.

Kanika - Seeing Druv said yeah one more coffee for Ashewesh?

Dhruv - Tell him to get his own....

Ashewesh - I think I must leave... Kanika just let me know when you are free and alone?

Kanika - sure..

Dhruv - Why alone........ I will be by her side all the time? To keep her safe from some musical jerks out there?

Ashewesh - To practice we need peace kanika......... no nonsense around.....

Kanika Holding Ashewesh's said told him to sit...... and Asked dhruv to be polite and say sorry... on insisting he said sorry..

Then Kanika started a talk in between Dhruv and Ashewesh... in sometime.... they both actually became fond of each other?

Kanika - Feeling a bit awkward asked Am I the third wheel here?

They both looked at her and started laughing......

AND THIS WAY A NEW FRIEND WAS WELCOMED INTO KANIKA AND DHRUV'S LIFE......
