The Wolfspy (Edited Version)
Hi everyone! This is one of my first stories in Writco. I wrote it in July or August 2022. When I read it again, I decided I needed to change a few things. So this is the remake of “The Wolfspy”! Remember, it’s one of my first stories, so it’s not very good. I just changed a few spelling mistakes. Enjoy reading this story!

Raven was a lucky girl.
Her mom and dad, Luna and Mitch, were extremely friendly and pretty rich. They lived in a big house with a pool and Raven had many friends. Her parents always had time for her and the ambiance in the house was always nice.
Her parents were so rich because they had played the main roles in a movie, twenty-six years ago. Raven didn’t know what the movie was about. Every time she asked her parents if she could watch the movie, they said: ‘No, Rav, that’s way too scary for you.’
There were only six rules in Raven’s home.
1. Don’t watch that movie.
2. Be nice.
3. Don’t steal or destroy stuff that’s not yours.
4. Don’t lie.
5. Don’t break your promises.
6. Stay in your bedroom on the special nights.
The “special nights” were the only secret of Raven’s parents. Every month, there was one “special night”. Raven’s parents locked her in her bedroom and said she had to go to sleep. It was absolutely forbidden to leave the bedroom on a night like that.
Raven didn’t know why her parents had decided that, but it had always been like that, as long as she could remember. Every time she asked why there were “special nights”, her parents changed the subject or said ‘just because’.
It didn’t matter for her. She was happy. If that meant she had to stay in her room one day in a month, that was okay.
‘Raven!’ Mitch yelled.
Raven ran downstairs, towards her father.
‘We’re going to visit Josh and Chris. Go get your coat, we’ll go in five minutes.’
‘Yay! I guess Ash will be there too, right?’
‘Yes, ‘course she is. OK, let’s go!’
Luna was already in the limousine. Raven listened to music during the drive towards the house of Josh and Chris.
Josh stood in the doorway. ‘Hey guys! Long time ago since you visited last time!’
‘Joshua, great to see you again!’ Luna yelled. ‘How’s Chris?’
‘Good. Very good, actually.’ Josh’ voice became much quieter when he whispered: ‘Chris is pregnant!’
Chris came out of a room and walked towards the doorway with a big smile.
‘Really? Congratulations!’ Mitch said. ‘Another girl? Or a little brother for Ashley?’
‘It’s a boy!’ Josh said. ‘We’re so happy!’
A girl came downstairs and saw Raven. ‘Rav! You’re finally back!’
‘Ash!’ Raven yelled. The two girls hugged each other and Ash pulled Raven towards the stairs. ‘Come on, I need to show you something!’
The four parents watched their daughters running away, then they walked into the living room and started talking.
After a few minutes, Ash and Raven came in. They sat down, giggling. ‘You ask them!’ ‘No, you ask them!’
‘What do you want to ask?’ Chris said.
Raven said laughing: ‘We wondered how our parents met each other.’
Chris hesitated. ‘Josh… can we tell them?’
‘Of course! They are fourteen now, they’re old enough,’ Josh answered.
‘I met Mitch when we were in high school,’ Luna said. ‘I always was afraid that he hated me.’
‘And that’s why she never spoke to me,’ Mitch said with a smile. ‘I was afraid to talk to her ‘cause I thought something happened with her and she had a trauma or something like that.’
‘Why did you think that?’ Raven asked.
‘Because of her scars and her eye.’
Luna was blind in her left eye and her face was full of scars. Raven never asked why. She was used to it and had never been curious about it. But now she was. ‘Mom, why do you have so much scars?’
‘Oh, that’s… nothing…’ Luna answered hesitately. ‘A little accident.’
‘Er… okay. But how did you find out you were in love with each other?’
‘Something terrible happened and we just told each other in case that we won’t make it.’
‘What happened?’ Raven was very curious about it now. ‘Did you get your scars from that?’
‘No. That happened before I met your father.’
‘Okay, now tell us about how you met, mom and dad!’ Ash yelled.
Josh smiled. ‘We were in high school with each other… and with Mitch and Luna. Luna saved us all and I realized she was pretty nice. So I decided to ask her out.’
‘Josh was the hottest guy in the school,’ Mitch said with a smile. ‘He just thought: geez, this girl saved everyone of us, maybe I will become even more popular if I ask her out and she says yes.’
Josh shrugged. ‘Er… maybe it was a little bit like that.’
‘But when Luna turned out to be taken (by me, of course), he asked her best friend out…’
‘My only friend,’ Luna corrected him.
‘Okay, her only friend. Everyone knew they were friends, so, he asked Chris out. Chris was in love with him, ‘cause every girl was in love with him… and they married seven years later.’
Ash and Raven started laughing again. ‘That’s the weirdest love story I’ve ever heard!’
Josh smiled. ‘Yeah, it is....
