On 17 August 2005, the remaining 63 districts of Bangladesh, without Munshiganj, were bombed within fifteen minutes by the JMB led by Banglabhai and Bura Huzur (OLD TEACHER).
🌟 My position in 2005 ✒
Basically from 2004 to 2006 I was more busy with myself.
First, I was admitted to Nandail Shaheed Smriti Adarsh College from Alia Madrasa. So there was a special importance and attention in my studies.
I also used to do owr own business, agricultural land, fish farming, tree gardening etc.
To join the army as an officer, I practiced military-style and yoga, karate, kung fu, jujutsu, aikido, and taekwondo.
It was then that I began to study the complexities of religion and philosophy. In particular, I began to study the writings and philosophy of Descartes, Hume, Hegel, Marx, Lenin, James William, Maulana Maududi, Saeed Qutb, Maulana Dariabadi, Sir Francis Bacon.
And in my spare time I used to play snake games on my mobile. Then I had three mobiles. A Motorola, a Nokia and a Siemens. Using one mobile phone was huge at the time - and using three mobile phones was almost unimaginable. I kept Motorola and Nokia in my pocket and Siemens behind my computer's CPU at home.
At that time I was probably the only student in the college who could go to class with mobile phones in his pockets.
So in the midst of so much busyness and study, where is the Bengali brother or where is the English brother killing or bombing peoples ? I was not in the mood to be busy with that.
Even then I used to read news about Bangla Bhai in newspapers.
🌟 My day is August 17, 2005 ✒
I took a bath like every day and went to college and took classes. And I went to the college library and read books.
After that, when I came home, I met known many persons, but no one told me about the bombings across the country. Even then the news of the bombing was not known to any teacher or student of our college.
At that time newspapers and television were the main means of getting news. A man I know next to the mosque near my house said he heard bombings all over the country. Now he is going to watch the news on television.
Of course, I did not take the matter so seriously. I thought, maybe some boys and girls my age have exploded to make a fuss, as is done in Kali Pujo - Diwali.
After coming home, I had lunch, rest a little and go to a tea shop at the corner of the hospital to watch the news. I went and saw a crowd of people. I also sat down to have tea and watch the news. At one point in the news, Ward 6 Commissioner Abdul Hai said, "What bomb did they hit? Not a single person was killed. Squib of mr. shadesh in Nandail Bazar is more louder than that bombs." We all laughed heartily heh heh heh.
At one stage of the news, we also heard the statements of the then coalition government and the opposition grand alliance.
I finally returned to home.
🌟 Some discussion ✒
1) Although there were many militant attacks from 2004 to 2006, not all were of the same party or ideology.
2) Mufti Hannan and Mufti Rauf used to carry out grenade attacks inspired by the ideology of Osama bin Laden.
But JMB used to bomb. Inspired by the ideals of Dr. Asadullah Al-Ghalib, Bura Huzur and Bangla Bhai.
3) Mufti Hannan and Rauf spoke of Usama bin Laden and Mullah Omar as their mentors after their arrest.
But after the arrest, the JMB members mentioned the names of Bangla Bhai, Ataur Rahman Sunny and Old Teacher.
Even after the arrest of Bangla Bhai and Bura Huzur, they called themselves the main leaders of JMB. The names of any mentors or helpers above them but they did not say.
4) In March 2007, Bangla Bhai, Old Teacher , Sunny and others were executed.
But Mufti Rauf...
