There are certain desires that make you suffer.
Because they don't get fulfilled easily.

They hold the power to make you weep, lose yourself and even feel scared of hope.

The last part is the worst of all.

When the wait doesn't seem to end, you reach a point where it is not the pain that scares you anymore. It is getting your hope crushed all over again.

You become fearful of ever being hopeful again.

You even try hoping against hope, but that doesn't seem to work either.

They say nothing is lost until you have hope.

But what's more when you are scared of the little hope that is left?
