Chapter Eight
''Im not going to hurt her.'' The man smiled deviously.

''You won't be able to resist. It's only a matter of time before you have to feed.''

''Feed? What's he talking about Daniel?''

''Nothing!''

''Nothing, indeed. Why don't you tell her what you truly are?''

''What's he talking about Daniel?''

''You'll see sweetness.'' With that, the man walked away.

Hours passed and Daniel began to feel his hunger grow.

''Daniel, you don't look so good. Are you alright?'' Asked Jess.

''Ill be fine.'' But, Jess wasn't convinced. She walked over to him and sat down next to him. He signed heavily and smiled at her.

''I'm sorry about all of this.'' He said. She cocked her head.

''It's not your fault. Are you sure you're alright? You look really pale. We need to get your pills.'' He grinned.

''Good luck doing that.''

''But, you need them or you could die.''

''It's much worse than that I'm afraid.''

''What do you mean?''

''Nothing.''

Another hour passed and he was really feeling ill. He laid down on her lap and began to shake from the pain.
She held him, stroking his head lovingly.

''Daniel, you're shaking.''

''It's nothing.'' He replied, breathing heavily. Then the pain caused him to cry out.

''Oh my God, Daniel! You need your pills! I'm going to get them if it kills me!''

''No! There's no way out of here.''

''But, you're dying. You need them.''

''I'll think of a way out. I promise.''

Many more hours passed and Daniel was in a bad state. He shook with the pain and it began to wear on him.

''Jess?...'' She looked down at him.

''There's something I have to tell you.''

''What?''

''I'm not what you think.'' She looked confused.

''What do you mean?'' He painfully sat up.

''I told you about my mother?''

''Yes.''

''Well, she was a Vampire.'' She looked shocked.

''What?''

''She was a wonderful person. She was kind and gentle. And she was at peace with the human world. She didn't kill humans. My father is human, so, I'm a little bit of both. The pills I have are iron pills. To keep my hunger at bay. Without them, I could hurt someone. I'm sorry Jess. I couldn't tell you.'' His pain increased and he stiffened out and grunted as it got worse.

''You'er a Vampire?''
'Only half. I'm half human too. I'll understand if you don't want to see me anymore.''

''Don't be silly. I don't care what you are. I really like you Daniel. You're very sweet. I know you wouldn't hurt me on purpose.'' He smiled a littl, still shaking and breathing heavily.

''We need to get you out of here.'' She said.

''There's only one way out.''

''You know a way?''

''I need you to do me a favor.''

''What?''

''You must kill me Jess.'' She looked at him in shock.

''No! Absolutely not! There's gotta be another way!''

''Jess, I don't want to hurt you. And I will. It's only a matter of time before I lose my senses. Please, you have to do this.'' He was now shaking uncontrollably and he grunted with every painful moment.

''No! I'm going to get you out of here and you'll be fine!''

''Jess, please. I don't want to hurt you.''

''You won't. You're a good man and I know you won't hurt me.''

''Don't be so sure about that.''
