When I was young darkeness was portrayed simply as a physical place with the abscence of light. Now that I have grown up more I realise that is not all that it is. Darkness can be everywhere even in the middle of the day. Darkness is a feeling. As kids we were too young to accept the concept of that so it is simpler and easier to grasp it meaning one thing, or maybe it is our parents protecting us praying we never find the true meaning of darkeness.

When you lie in bed waiting till the last moment to do the things you have to do you are letting darkness consume you. It weighs you down and makes you feel as though nothing in this world matters, it holds you down under water till it is almost deadly before allowing you back up for air just to do it...
