When Bill first walked in Peter's shop he was looking for a place to sit but all he saw was a stool with oil spots on it. His first thought was I'm not about to get oil on my pants so he stood there while Pete talk. So Pete said to him, you guys don't even know that your girls come in here for more than to get their car fixed they need somebody to talk to.
