Women and menstruation
Talking about periods is still a taboo in India .

There are people who think it's a bad topic to be a part of or speak of as it will bring an utter sense of shame and embarrassment .

Though considered a state of impurity , untouchability , foul odour , distancing along with lots of embarrassment , people never understood the real pain and the discomfort behind it .

In those days , when a girl needs his guy the most ,
when a women needs his man the most ,
and when a wife needs his husband the most ,

They all are deprived of love , care and all the affection showered on them in those normal days when she doesn't menstruate .

She is considered as an untouchable and liveless object from whom people should stay away .

When a girl or a women bleeds , those 3-5 days ,
She is not allowed to enter the kitchen ,
She is not allowed to enter the temples or attend any pujas at home ,

She is made to stay away crying alone in pain and cramps without anybody attending her ,
She is not loved by her husband ,
She is not cared by people and her family ,

She is just considered an impure object not to be touched or stayed near by .

Since the time of her first periods , her struggle begins .

She does everything silently , hiding from everybody's eye at home so that nobody comes to know about it because people will then start looking at her as if she has done a big mistake and a big blunder and God is giving her punishment for her deeds by making her bleed .

Not only this , she keeps on hiding her sanitary napkins in the cupboards or places where nobody can find .

Disposing them is another big task for her .

No wonder how every girl turns out to be a good detective understanding people's move and their acts .
It's been very much told that it's very difficult for any husband to hide anything from their wife as they are been caught up and no doubt from where this experience of James Bond and Sherlock Holmes come into play .

Hiding and disposing are the next steps and factors to be looked at and prior to this is buying them which leaves no stone unturned .

The pads are been wrapped up in a newspaper like a gift wrapping and then handed over in a black colour plastic bag .

Each and every girl has their own period story to share which will bring out something new but there are some objects in the story which remains the same and obviously the feelings of embarrassment to be pinned up in the first list .

Every girl has experienced those days of
Blood ,
Lying down on the bed with heavy pains and cramps crying alone in despair ,
Missing out classes and morning assemblies ,
Checking out their dresses for blood stains and wearing deep colour to avoid such stains which can bring her in a situation where people will continuously look at her and talk about her saying see " she's bleeding" , "she's having her periods and look her dress is stained " .

It becomes a hot topic for others to talk at in order to make her uncomfortable and embarrassed at that moment but at that time it's also about helping her which rarely anybody does .

Lastly but not finally , it's been a very common thing for a girl to tie up a sweater on her waist to hide those stains during winter which I think almost every girl has done once in her life .

Rather than thinking her to be impure and untouchable and lending our hands to make her feel embarrassed or ashamed , let's just make her feel alright and make her feel comfortable .

She's already in pain and why do we need to give her more .

She is mature when she menstruates and she menstruates for you guys to have a family .

All this pain and days of her looking down in loneliness and embarrassment is for you guys to be happy with her hugged in a family together .

When a baby is born , if a mother who gives birth to her is happy then the father , even after not knowing how to hold the baby properly holds the baby in his arms , is the happiest too .

The smile in his face and the happiness reflecting in his eyes is all a women menstruates or bleeds for every month .

Let's just give her share of happiness to her as well .
