The car sped through the dark night, it's headlights flashing, warning the incoming traffic ,from the back sit i was shocked ,scared ,I wanted to scream but who would here me ,I looked for tears but none rolled down .I had never asked anyone for a lift before ,talk of a total stranger .I had missed the last bus and it was dark already so I got hold of my fears and got a lift ,now I'm scared ,his driving so fast ,wait a minute he just locked all doors and rolled up the windows .at that time so many thoughts were racing in my mind ,I wanted to keep calm but I couldn't ,I was still very far from my apartment yet I slowly asked him to stop after the robots ,is he ignoring me or he didn't hear ,again I spoke with a squeaky voice ,(thankyou sir ,please drop me at the next stop street) but no word from him ,it just seems as if he just increased his speed. From that time I knew something was not right ,I tried to pull myself together act normal as if i wasn't worried or scared .He said nothing and he just drove ,all I knew was I had passed my stop and had no clue were I was ,as we approached a gas station ,he turned and asked if I needed anything ,all i said was ,( nothing sir ,I'm tired and need to get home and rest )with a harsh voice he turned ,(stop nagging or you will regret it ,sit back and shut your mouth) ,I got scared ,my tears rolled I wanted to plead but no words came out of my mouth ,I knew either he will rape me ,kill me or rape and kill me ,it was long since I prayed ,that moment I asked God to forgive me ,I said a thousand words without opening my mouth .I knew something bad was about to happen ,as we drove the car started to slow down ,and they was nothing around just bushes ,I knew ,this man was gonna kill me and dump me. He pulled over ,we out of gas he said ,don't do anything stupid or make a sound ,I quietly sat in the back and shut my mouth ,he jumped out lit a cigarette and offered me ,with fear I accepted ,I didn't want to say or do anything that would make things worse ,I jumped out in fear ,could hardly light the cigarette ,and at that moment I said to myself I'm not going down without a fight ,he was gonna kill me anyway , so when he moved to put the radio on ,I ran ,without. looking back ,asking God to increase my speed ,he was right. behind me ,I was running i n the middle of the road ,I said better I get knocked by a car than to be raped and killed by this devil ,as I was running I looked and from a distance was a flash light ,as the light got closer he stopped chasing me and he hid ,but I kept running towards the light ,and boom a truck almost knocked me ,I couldn't speak ,I was crying ,breathing heavy ,and the driver just took me in and told whatever it is its over ,we drove almost 45 mins without me saying a word ,then I told him all that had happened and how he had saved my life from that physco .I was so thankful to God for bringing that trucker at the very moment for who knows what would have become of me
