The time had come to start my journey. I leaned out of the window, waving as long as I could while she disappeared into the distance.Separate from mom seeking refuge in a distinct land with different culture,behavioural patterns and what have you.Adapting to this environ would be a Herculean task.As the adage says"One has to seek his fate where it suits them"
As I sat in the car,I reflected on how my village looked like.How I sought comfort under shade during the sunny afternoons after a hard days toil.My mom used to tell "man has got to strive and keep thriving".I knew a day was approaching when my sucess story would inspire others to aspire as they also seek to reach higher heights.Above all honesty,humility and loyalty were my three main key philosophies in living.
God who blesses and shows mercy to whom he desire was the key figure I was walking with just as the partriachs did.I knew that success wouldn't come upon reaching my hostile environ immediately.I always recalled on how as a three year old I saw my dad being slaughtered as though he was an animal.My dream of seeking my success outside this village was to become a lawyer so I can clear the atmosphere on how unholy my dad was murdered.
After completing the only second cycle institution in the village due to the support of my mom,I was always looking for support to further my education which I got upon reaching the city.When I arrived in the city,I started searching for jobs and the only vacant job was to work in an industry which was responsible for textile production.I started as a errandsboy and also used to run the errands in the industry.I was sent to purchase the raw materials for production and also food for the workers.
Something divine happened one day as I was called by the C.E.O of the industry.As I entered his office,with my hands beside my back he told me to sit down,he asked where I got that enormous strength with which I worked with.I told him it was all the doings of the Lord.One thing I wished and prayed for was favour from my superiors and it looked like my prayers had been answered as I saw the smiles on the face of the noble man who sat before me.
He asked of my parents which was a very sad response as I told what I had been through and where I was going to.As tears flowed down my cheeks,I told him I came to work in order to further my education.He told me to put myself together and that he had a surprise for me as he told me that my character had been understudied for the past months I had been there.And that my education was going to be sponsored by the industry and it's going to be my choice of study.This message came like a bird who had found itself in a missing nest.
I was totally lost at sea as I broke down in tears.At last,God had come to my aid.If God answered my prayers in this situation,I bet your dilemma who be the least of God's puzzle.
