An old lad and a more old lady
came up to me ,
rather wearing something shady .
I stole a look,
then went back to my book,
in which I was learning ,
how to cook ( I am a bad chef )😅.

They addressed me by hello Miss ,
and I was perplexed ..now what's this 🤷🏻‍♀️,
"we see you have stolen a dozen dime ?"
and I'm like :
" what I didn't do the crime ? "
"well done or not we have proof, you see ! "
and I am like no way I must be in fantasy !!

again a shake and I came back in the present ,
" miss , you'll have to come and we'll see what to do "
and I am like : Show the proof , you must be fake aren't you ?
"ok then well proof as you see
is in your book itself apparently "
I opened my book
with a horrified look
and was astounded to see the money all in a crook ,

and my whole world just blowed and shook
this was a new book ,how come there's money in the crook ?

then I went with the lad and lady,
and was seated in their jeep so shady,
I waited for some hours,
till out came the silent stars,
a policeman then came up,
saying " parking time's over remove your stuff !"
I said it's not mine but one of ur department ,
he said" what not at all !,have you blown off your top apartment ?! "
I told that man the whole story then ,
and he said you gave the money to criminals then ,
I was busted with a sad bad face ,
not because those cheats had looted me in their race ,
certainly the money was not at all mine ,
but the cook book was gone ,
and now I don't have something else to rhyme 😂
