Some relationships begin like a dream, where everything seems perfect at first glance. I met someone who, at the start, seemed to embody everything you'd want in a lifelong partner. He was kind, attentive, and had that charm that made me believe he could be the one. His presence filled my days with warmth, and at first, I thought this was how a love story was meant to unfold.
But as days turned to months and months to years, the perfect image started to fade. His true nature began to reveal itself. His needs grew more demanding—he wanted me with him all the time, needed my attention constantly, but he made only minimal effort in return. I value my independence. I've always believed that in any relationship, there should be room to grow individually. Yet, he didn't share that belief.
