Work more, talk less
Do you know a parrot talks but doesn't fly high? Do you also know that an eagle doesn't talk, but is the king of birds in the sky? What I am saying is this, talking more and working less is not necessary, but a big waste. There's a saying that says, "actions speak louder than words", why must you waste much time talking than working?
Many of us today talk more than a parrot, we brag about ourselves, but don't have anything to show in return. There's this elderly man in my community, he talks too much, he always get something to brag about, I remembered the last time he called me in his home, he told me that he was going to open a store which was last year, I didn't ask him to disclose his plans to me, but what he told me wasn't necessary, We're in 2022, his store is still unseen. I was shocked yesterday seeing this man making new year resolution again. Can't you imagine this, he didn't fulfill what he said he was going to do last year, yet he making another one.
The world will not always recognize you for what you say, your words are sometimes cheap, but your actions are expensive, what you do will be recognized by people you don't even know.
Think about this, we are know Noah from the Bible because he built the ark right? We all know Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg because of their works, not their words. Talk less, work more my people... My mom and I was lecturing today, she's my lecture mate by the way, she said, "People can now call me to prepare their wedding food and bake their cakes all because of my work, not my words.
We started a new year today, many people cried last night in churches, how they gonna do this, do that in this year. They're all liars, big liars, give them the first six months and ask them how far with the goals they wrote down, you'll be shocked to hear silly replies like, "I'm actually broke, this year isn't good at all, I wish I could". Don't be like them, be quiet and do your work secretly, let people be shocked.
Be like an eagle after all, cause you will not always be in your parents'house, work hard to be independent, if you become, reach back, inspire others, teach other people, show them the way if necessary, nourish the younger ones, and be an example.
