The strange giant with the strange name.

He wasn't from this place. I could tell, even without August pointing it out.

There wasn't anyone around in this place. The ancient looking town wore a deserted look. August had mentioned that only Keepers lived here. That meant everyone was at the Castle. There were no other living being in sight.

All the houses looked similar to August's. Or rather, it looked like Mr Weather's hotel. Grand, ancient, and majestic, like what I'd imagine a palace to look like.

"Ah a visitor", someone jumped in front of me. "Nothing much to see here"

He wore the cloak of a Keeper and hid his face behind a mask, except his green eyes."You don't speak?"

I stepped back."I do. I'm just looking around"

"The houses?", he sounded confused. I found myself smiling. He sat on the ground and watched me."shall I carry you around then?"

I declined. I'd never imagined being carried around."I told August I'd just look around and head back"

He was silent for a moment. Then he snapped his fingers and stood right in front of me. "Ah, you're a human"

He was smaller now."How do you do that?"

"Can't you?"

I shook my head.

He removed his cloak and placed it over my shoulders. It was heavy. He waited for a few seconds, and then took it back."Doesn't work"

I was confused.

"I can't make you bigger",he sat back down on the ground and looked lost in thought.

"Are you a Keeper too?"

He shook his head."I'm visiting"

His cloak was a darker shade of green."Where are you from then?"

"You can't tell?",he sounded confused again. His cloak was a dark shade of green."Raldrest"

Maybe I shouldn't have asked. I dont even know where I am.

"I've visited Earth", he said."humans are funny"

I wouldn't know.

"They kill each other for want of some-", he jested."-of some papers"

He must be referring to money. I nodded.

"When will you return?"

"I don't know how to ",i honestly answered."The gates won't let me go through"

He looked confused again."Is the Kingmaker not here?"

Kingmaker?

"The- The-", he looked at a loss for words."-the white one"

He shook his head."We don't say his name. But he can help you"
