Dear sister,
While enjoying the cool refreshing water
falling down on my bald head
after our church gathering
my thoughts wandered off to you
& also to War Room.

War Room is a christian movie,
that in a mild way
challenges the modern view of society
against the conservative thoughts
regarding the role of husband & wife.

We cannot deny that over the years
the role of women in society has changed a lot.
Many women have
and are still making an impact in the world.
Women are nowadays often
also higher educated than men,
which whether we want to accept it or not,
makes it more challenging for these women
to find the proper candidate, that qualifies as husband material.

People in general are led by mutual attraction
or a set of preferences, whether inner beauty, character, personality or physical appearance,
rather than the Spirit of God
to search
for the proper fit.

When we look at marriage from a Biblical point of view,
we know that husbands are called to take the lead in marriage.
They are the providers, they protect and they are the priests in their home.

is expected to support her husband, ...
