It's been two months since the rejection and I'm finally getting over it, not to the point I can try again just yet but I'm not feeling the pain anymore and I'm not distraught over it.  I think it was for the best that he rejected me because I saw his true colors before it was too late.

Anyway, I was out on a run letting my feline side stretch and relax when I heard whimpering coming from you ahead that got louder the closer I got till I stood in front of a Bush that was shaking vigorously.

To make them feel more comfortable to come out I laid down and just sat there purring hoping that it will calm them down enough to get them out of the bush. After waiting for a while one of their little noses sticking out of the bush before an equally little body came barreling out at me with a second one shyly running after it.

After grooming them a little bit to get them used to me and my scent before I conjured up a small basket with a folded blanket inside setting the two cubs inside of it as I got up to make my way back to my one-bedroom little a shack-like house.

When I made it back to my home I shifted and started to make some dinner for me and the cubs while they slept on the twin-size bed still in their animal form cuddled close to each other sharing warmth.

After finishing dinner I set the small two-person table before walking over to the cubs and gently waking them up before setting them on the table so they can eat from their plate while I ate from mine. Once we were done eating I made us a bath and washed up before laying down with one on my chest and the other on my side.

The next day when I woke up I coaxed them to shift back to their human forms before going through my bad to get my small suitcase of little kid clothes from when I was their age and got them dressed before putting it back into my bag as I said

"Come kiddos, we have some shopping to do"

Grabbing one hand with my left and the other with my prosthetic as Daniel followed along with her vest on. We walked out to my bike as I realized I don't have a trailer for them. Since I was going to the store anyway I had them hang on to me tightly as I rode my bike to the store.

When we got there we made our way in as I went to the bike section and got a two-person trailer and a four-person trailer and put it in the basket with the kids. Then headed to the school section to get what they needed for homeschooling, got some groceries since I have more mouths to feed.

After that, I went to the toy section and let them pick out four toys each and a teddy as I asked

"What are you guys' names? Mine is Azami"

The more bold one of the two said

"My name is Kanai and my brother is Keir"

"Nice names, very unique like mine"

Once they picked out what they wanted we headed to check out so we can go back home, after paying for everything I we went back to my bike where I put what could fit in the baskets then built the trailer and connected it to my bike before strapping them in and putting the rest of the bags in the little storage compartment in the back.

When we got home I put everything where they go before separating all the school stuff so they have their own and put it inside of their backpacks that I made to be like my kitty bag. Once I figured out what grade they were in and got them situated with their work.

I started preparing lunch before it was time for me to go to work. After eating and checking their work we cleaned up and went back to my bike once the house was locked up. Then I headed to the nearest fast food place and grabbed all the to-go orders before starting my route.

After a couple of hours, I took a break and stopped at my favorite cafe and we walked inside to get some much-needed food and beverages. Once we were done eating and the kids have comfortably seated with their bears Kenai the tiger and keir the white tiger, I closed the little window-like thing so they can have some shade as they take their nap.

While they were napping I finished my second route before ending my shift and heading home to get them ready for bed before my next job started. Once that was done I bundled them up and buckled them in before heading to my next job and heading inside.

After getting them situated with their bears and a blanket on a booth far from the other but still in eyesight of me wherever I was inside the cafe, I got to work taking orders and bringing orders when this one couple walked in and from the looks of it, I could tell that they were if not both then at least one was going to be difficult.

When I got to their table I out on my best customer service smile and said

"Welcome to Bliss Bites cafe, how may I help you today?"

While taking a quick look at my kids to make sure they're okay.

"What do you have that's vegan?"

"We have Tumeric veggie burgers, vegan pasta, bean stew, and salad"

"Can I have the vegan pasta with a salad and a cup of lemonade"

"Yes ma'am, and for you sir?"

"Can I just get a burger with no onions with a sprite, please"

"I'll be right back with your drinks"

I replied as I walked to give the kitchen their order and make them their drinks. After handing them their drinks I went to check on one of my other tables to make sure everything was good and to their liking.

I really need those tips to help me pay the bills and school. Seeing that everything is fine I went to check on my kids and pull the blanket back up on them before going back to grab the order for table five and bring it to them.

While I was wiping one of the other tables I heard a scream of disgust from the section with table five and headed over there and asked

"What seems to be the problem, ma'am?"

"Ugh, that dog is the problem, you are the problem, why is there dog hair in my pasta"

"I'm sorry for that ma'am, are you sure that's dog hair because when I handle food and drinks Saniel stays at an empty table away from me till I'm done to avoid situations like this"

"Are you calling me a lier you idiot?"

"No ma'am I'm just saying that maybe it's someone else hair"

"MAYBE IF THAT DOG WASNT IN HERE THIS WOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED!!"

"ma'am please k.k.keep your voice down"

"NOW YOU'RE TELLING ME WHAT TO DO, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE HUH? WHY IS IT EVEN IN HERE? DOGS DONT BELONG IN HERE SO KICK IT OUT NOW"

"Sorry ma'am but Saniel can be in here and she can't leave my side for a long time, she's my service dog so she has to be near me just in case..."

"IN CASE WHAT HUH? IN CASE YOU SLIP AND FALL IS THAT IT? I DONT SEE ANYTHING WRONG WITH YOU"

She continued to yell at me as I tried to explain my condition, because of my PTSD I can't handle yelling or being yelled at I could feel the locked-up memories trying to push forward as my stress levels started to rise.

"ma'am I have PTSD so plz lower your voice and I have epilepsy so I'm prone to seizures and Saniel warns me before a seizure"

"THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULD BE WORKING IN THE FIRST PLACE IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE A SINGLE CUSTOMER HUH?"

After she yelled that I could feel Saniel pawing at my leg vigorously as my head began to get fuzzy as memories I tried so hard to forget started to resurface before I blacked out not even having to safely lay down and prepare.

When I came to after I don't know how long I saw my boss next to me as the couple still sat at their table staring at me in fright. After giving Saniel my signal she let me up as I looked around confused for a moment before it came back.

"Ms.Whitedale, I'm sorry for causing more trouble please don't fire me I really need this job and I love working here, I'll try to stop it from happening I promise"

I said as I felt myself start to tremble and shake as another seizure started to come from me putting stress on myself to convince my boss not to fire me.

"Azami calm down, you stressing yourself out will cause another grand mal seizure... I'm not going to fire you ok so plz calm down"

"Ok"

I replied taking deep breaks before finally standing up only to feel to head a bang into my legs as tiny arms hugged me tight, it was then I heard the tiny wails and sobbing as I looked at my little ones.

"Shhh, it's ok babies... It's ok"

I said as I bent down to hug them to me rubbing their backs as Kenai said

"But you were shaking and. and wouldn't wake up and you fell and hit your head... You're still bleeding to"

"We can't lose you, dad, we can't... We can't lose you too... Mommy didn't want us so she left us there, but you... You chose us... You could have left like mommy but you stayed please don't die"

Replied Keir as he hugged me even tighter trying to get as close to me as possible.

"Oh my poor babies, I'm not like your mother whoever she is ok... I'm not going anywhere and neither are you"

I said kissing their little heads as I brought them back to their table and got them situated with some crayons and coloring books. I walked back over to my boss and started to explain everything that happened.

When I was done I went to the back to patch up the side of my head before getting back to work as my boss dealt with the couple more so the female. As I was working a lot of our regulars were asking what happened and was very distraught and angry at the way I was treated by the female since I'm in their words the best waiter ever.

Once my shift was over I packed the kids up then headed home so they can get some more sleep and I can finally rest and sleep.
