I with silver pendant
Such an innocent kid filled with
Uncontrollable curiosity
About wonders of the world
But she doesn't know she got to
Risk her own world for this pursuit
The real purpose of living to the fullest

The delicacy of many issues
I'm troubled by audacity
You don't see me in many places
I mingle with the mediocrity
In all my surroundings
But the normalcy of fitting in to where I don't belong has starved me for so long
Real bad that I yearn for more taste
None can feed the unchanging appetite

All of that have stripped away her innocence
People tend to mask their sinful deeds
With excessive guilt and bribe
The upright with accusation
"Listen, be less upright. You're no better,"
Selling out hypocrisy done underneath
Till they did succeed to convince me
As my worldview is changing, I've given in
To a half-truth notion that we all have fallen
Better do nothing, all will be in vain
Why try to turn things around?
Waiting for the arrival of a new shift upon
This contaminated world we live in
Forgot to welcome any, we're already full of Blemish and so undeserving

Now I know people don't wanna be told
Neither consult for truer wisdom
About their wrongdoings back to get right
Only cozier in a dangerous playground
They'd like to play the role of a referee
Decisions between good and evil
Closing their eyes, single out the good part
Shouting free will over the hill
Taking up to offense while getting offended
When things are much apparent
Irrefutable as they seem
And aware of the numbness dull their soul, Feeling at ease to compromises

Then, help me with my unbelief
If the world impacts have tried it all
Staying conformed to this endless rat race
At least, teach me better at
Impacting hearts of the people,
The vulnerable yet valuable asset
