I have lived in the shelter, The Living York, for 4 months now. It is a shelter for puppies of different breeds and ages. Currently, I think the shelter houses like 25 to 30 puppies, though it is kind of hard to keep up with the numbers, seeing that we get adopted all the time. It is such a beautiful place with an old lady as the caretaker, Mrs Snow. It is located at the outskirts of the town, few miles away from the River called “ Ray”.
Mrs Snow would always tell us amazing stories about River Ray, especially how the sound of its flowing water calms her mind and makes her feel peaceful anytime she is going through a difficult situation in her life, and that's why she calls it, The Peaceful River.
