The Meteor Tragedy 3/4
Tim jumped down the bed and ran out of the room. He looked behind and saw a silvery-green liquid was following him. His heart started thumping badly. His eyes almost came out of their sockets.
Something similar was happening in Nica's room , she saw a slimy substance on the doormat, when she opened the door to go to washroom. She jumped over it and ran toward the stairs shrieking "Mom, Dad , something is here !"
Tim and Nica bumped into each other when they reached the other ends of the corridors with great speed.
"Watch out !" Tim said.
"You crashed into me not I , so you." Nica said , "WATCH OUT!" she continued imitating Tim.
They were arguing badly, when Harmon reached the place , he was looking pretty scared , but as he saw them his usual brave face popped out. "What are you doing here ?"
" Harmon, there is something on the doormat of my room ." Nica said.
"And something entered my room from the gap under the door." Tim said , then he stopped and asked , "What are you doing here , Harmon."
"Uh! There was something lying on my bed near me."
"Let's go down and tell this to Dad." Tim said.
"We can't wake him up for such minor problems. We need to deal it ourselves." Harmon said.
Suddenly , the same silvery liquid slipped from under the planks in front of them. It accumulated there and started flowing towards them.
"Run! " Harmon said going downstairs with Nica and Tim. Harmon closed the door tightly behind him.
They reached the hall and looked back. To their suprise nothing was following them , but suddenly , the door started dissolving and the slime like liquid flowed out of it. The liquid started flowing down the stairs.
"What the hell is that !" Tim exclaimed.
"I think I know!" Nica said.
"What is it?" Harmon asked.
"Just a guess , but it maybe the liquid in which Robinson was dissolved in."
"If you are correct ! Our lives are in danger , this liquid is fatal. I think we should tell it to Dad." Harmon said.
"No need ,I have a brilliant idea. " Tim said as he ran into the kitchen and brought out a glass jar.
