1. ALLITERATION IS FUN
Words that start with the same sounds make your content more memorable and oddly tongue twisting.And we bet you won't be able to read the sentence with similar sounding words with the straight face.

2. IT'S IN THE WORD
It's all in the words you use. Some words are inherently funny. Use the word skedaddle instead of hurry and you have yourself a fun chase sequence between characters.

3.BREAK THE PATTERN
People often have certain expectations and are prejudiced. They expect the story to go a certain way. But leave them up high and take the story to an unexpected twist or ending.
"oh, my salary just got credited. And its such a lovely day.Maybe I should finally get the outer fish walker.

4.SIZE DOES MATTER
How would you react if you see your size 20 sneakers? or when you see your keychain sized pizza?
Exaggerating about the size and the quantity is the most effective form of humour.

5.OBVIOUSLY
Repeating a pointing out an obvious fact in the second half of the sentence can make the first half more appealing. Think of it like putting emphasis on the sentence that people thought would never be mentioned.
