The smile on my face is real,
It bears witness to how I feel
It hides the struggles and pain
With lessons learned I have so much to gain

I carry myself with confidence and pride
You wouldn't believe my life story if you tried
I have strength coming from inside
But damn this journey has been one hell of a ride
