It’s been a few days since Olivia said she liked me and I still haven’t the faintest idea on what to tell her. I’ve been avoiding her without noticing and it must make her upset or feel bad “there is no point in thinking about this now” I muttered to myself. Might as well speak to her tomorrow is what I thought as I dozed off.

The next day in the library she came to me with a mundane look in her eyes “how long are you going to be ignoring me?” she said with a pout

“im not ignoring you I promise” I said with a weird smile after
Olivia shouted “ ill be seeing you tomorrow and every day after that Steven, bye!!” and waved as she left the library. I still didn’t know if this was a joke or a game or if she was serious, either way she seemed to know how to make me blush.

Every day after school she’d wait and go with me to the library. And every day id say the same thing “why don’t you hang out with your friends or go do something besides waiting for me?”

Again she’d look at me and say with an enchanting smile “why do you say the same thing every day when I like walking with you” but this time was different, she added “you know I like you but you say this, why not ask me out? You don’t seem like you’d like me coming to you during lunch since all you do is read, so I might as well wait for you after school”

To my surprise her words were as genuine as her smile and it made me blush. “ fine” I said “this Saturday will you get my by the station ?” she smiled and seemed to glow after hearing those words “yes I will” she replied “great ill get you at 11:00 okay” those were our last words for the day. All she did was smile as we walked towards the library.
