Jealousy means the state in which you desire the qualities and opportunities ones has but you also want the other to lack it. It is nothing wrong in praising someone but the feel that why he has it and I don't is not good. It leads you to mental illness. Jealously is root of all evil. Once you get jealous of someone you start hating them, you try all you can to hurt them. Jealousy can ruin lives if not stopped at the right time. Jealousy leads to all sorts of crime and once you fall into it you cannot turn back its not in your control because you are being controlled by evil itself. The only way to turn back is to try adoring them, praying for them by heart. It's difficult to pray for someone by heart if you hate them so by praying for the one you are envious of can help you to love them.
