God is literally described as a Jealous god, GOD SAYS in the bible “I AM A JEALOUS GOD, YOU WILL HAVE NO OTHER GODS BUT ME, I AM THE ONLY GOD.”

So god is literally described as a jealous god and DEMANDS LOYALTY and EXCLUSIVE WORSHIP in the same way an ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP does, and WHAT HAPPENS IF ONE DOESN'T LOVE GOD IN THAT WAY? WRATH and PUNISHMENT,

It's the same thing as an abusive relationship you have ANGER and & PHYSICAL VIOLENCE at some point to try to CONTROL THEIR PARTNER, Well, you're going to have the same thing in the bible when people don't do what god wants, What happens, MASS EXECUTIONS, FLOODS, PLAGUES, the DESTRUCTION S of CITIES and yet, this is a method of maintain control asserting dominance keeping one in fear all the time.

This is what they call CONDITIONAL LOVE, It's love with strings attached it's not just ((oh you know it's not unconditional love,)) It goes like this WELL I'LL LOVE YOU IF YOU FOLLOW EXACTLY WHAT I SAY, AND DO EXACTLY WHAT I WANT YOU TO DO.

It's that constant state of fear, where you are afraid to leave, that's one of the big things in abusive relationships, you're afraid to leave because of what that persons going to do, some people are SO STUCK IN A RELATIONSHIP where THEY'RE AFRAID FOR THEIR LIVES it's an unfortunate situation.
But it's the same sort of thing with religion.

This is the same idea in religion, In Christianity and Catholics and all the other religions we have the fact that you are TERRIFIED to LEAVE because If you leave you will be SENTENCED TO HELL FOR ETERNITY and ETERNAL DAMN ACTION.

So I got a little ahead of myself here, I just wanted to set the stage by showing you how this kind of love that's DESCRIBED IN  THE BIBLE is NOT AN UNCONDITIONAL FREE LOVE despite what many religious people say.
They'll often say that ((oh its unconditional love, its free love, )) NO its NOT, its a “LOVE” FROM A JEALOUS and VENGEFUL GOD who will DESTROY ANYONE WHO DOESN'T DO WHAT HE WANTS AND HE'LL HAVE THEM TORTURED FOR ETERNITY if they DON'T WORSHIP HIM.

It's a terribly abusive dynamic. You know if ang human relationship resembled the kind of relationship that god has with humanity, we would immediately condemned it, but because it's the bible it somehow gets a free pass which is completely contrary to what you would think, that an all-loving God would not exhibit the absolute worst kind of relationship Dynamic, you would think that a true loving god would exhibit a very positive and healthy relationship dynamic but that's not the case it's the most negative relationship dynamic, you can possibly imagen.

To talk about this more, I'm going to read you some quotes, and this is an excellent article on the (Thetaoist.online) there is an article called MAKING GOD IN OUR OWN IMAGE by KIM KELLY STAMP so if you enjoy some of the quotes that I will read from you can go follow them.

So I will read some quotes just to give you an idea of what I'm talking about here.

So KIM SAYS lam says: When I stepped away from my decade 3 decade long involvement with Christianity , I made sure to keep a hold of my connection to god, walking away from the church and my high-profile leadership role was not difficult because I knew it was the right choice, but it was heartbreaking just the same.

So this is a fascinating Idea, here you have someone leaving behind the religion of Christianity yet embracing a connection to god.
