The car swerved around the sharp mend giving a narrow miss to the on-coming bus. ahh they both screamed. women gets angry at her husband and blames him for the arguing when he should be concentrating on the road. " you neally got us both kill" the women exclaimed. " stop with your yelling women" she shouts stop the car, "STOP THE CAR CLINT" the women gets out and walks in the dark forest in the middle of nowhere just to get away from her husband as she is fed up of the arguments. Laura he shouts come back here at once. Laura carried on walking until she came across a river and on the otherside of the river was a cottage. Laura needed to get to the otherside as she was cold and scared her husband may come and look for her. Laura found a small bridge which lead her further away from the cottage but lead her to a carpark and a bed and breakfast. Laura was so cold and shaking. I'd like a room for the night she shivers. the lady on the desk saw and said let me get you a blanket and put you by the fire to warm up. sitting in an old red and blue flower chair saw Laura. he put his paper down and saw the sadness in her eyes. the man offered can I make you a hot tea madam. oh yes that would be lovely thank you. he gives her his newspaper and gets a biscuit with her tea. why are you tearful the man asked. its a long story. Laura looks at the man staring back at her she has never seen anyone so handsome in her life. he is tall with dark hair and flawless olive skin. she smiles at him and he smiles back at her. as the man gets up and walks away after kneeling beside her. she said wait! would you like to come and sit with me I could use a friend she sniffles. he smiles and said I would love too. sitting by the fire they both talked and talked about life and what had been happening. he said how rude of me I'm Roger. Laura as she responded to him. for years they both saw one another and loved each others company and the first time ever Laura was happy a year later Laura divorced Clint and remarried and later had two children and never been happier.
