THE TWIN DILEMMA- CHAPTER 3
They thanked the person and then went towards the swimming pool. Rina, the polite twin, was sitting calmly on a resting chair. "Hello, Rina, Hope you're good. We wanted to ask you something." Brandon asked. Rina greeted the four people, Lilly, Bob, Brandon, and Mrs. Perry Turner. "Hello, yes, you can ask me!"
"Do you know, that there were so many robberies in this cruise?" Lilly asked, innocently. "Ahem....yeah, well, it-it-it-is true. E-even Rosa Lee got a fracture in her.... ahem.... ankle." She stammered.
Rina was stammering with fright. Sweat dripped from her face. That was a clue that demonstrated that Rina was possibly worried about the safety of herself and her sister. That is, she was worried about only one thing: she did not want to go inside a jail!
"But, you were not there at that time when Ms. Rosa got hurt. How do you know this?" Brandon asked suspiciously. Rina started stammering again, "Uh-uh-well, someone else told me! Yes, some-someone else t-told me about this." She said. Rina lied about the whole someone-told-me scenario. The truth was that Rina knew about Aunt Rosa's accident because she and her twin, Florina were responsible for it! "Okay, I got to go. Bye." Rina scurried over.
"Let's check the place where Aunt Rosa was robbed," Perry suggested.
So, they went towards the place where Rosa Lee was robbed and hurt. "I can just see some spots of blood! And they are blood clots from Aunty's wounds." Lilly said, thinking.
"And look, here's a small strand of pink hair!" Brandon said, tugging the strand.
The hair strand was stuck in between some pillars, somehow. "If I'm not wrong, Florina and Rina have brownish-pink hair. So, that explains it.... We have many clues now, isn't it?" Bob said.
"Yes, we do have a lot of clues, Bob. Well, I wanted to tell you that when I was passing through the captain's cabin, there was a porthole, and it was not that wide. So, it means that someone thin might have probably climbed through the hole, and must've robbed the captain as well!" Lilly...
