"The asteroid is heading undeterred towards us. We're doomed," the newsreader quoted, her face ashen she couldn't even hide her fear.
So many things running threw her head,she starts to cry. As she trys to control her emotions,she seeing everything so different.
She trys to call her parents and brother but no answer.. She jumps in her car and heads home. She finally pulls in the driveway and runs inside.
"Mom,Dad?".. They are sitting in the living room watching tv.
She trays telling them that they need to build an underground shelter. So sure that they would have a better chance for survival. She thinks if they get some of the neibors in on it we could be done in a few days. Her parents listening but are still sitting there. She yells ' we need to hurry"...
Please Mom...
Her mom grabs her hand and squeezes it tight and says it's ok honey. Just sit with us and enjoy these last days together. I don't wanna waist my last days making a shelter that doesnt garenntee our survival. I would rather just have my family here , laughing and watching our favorite movies. We will all be together when we meet our maker.
I was in shock,still scared to death but slowly calming down.. She's right. I couldn't think of better way to leave this life.. so that's what we are doing. enjoying life together until this asteroid hits.......
