Not my Mistake.
My name is Cynthia. The first child out of 4. 3 girls and 1boy. My dad is a renounced counsellor and also a church elder and my mom is a quiet, descent and reserved woman nicknamed "maama" because of her outstanding virtues. My life got messed up after I completed the university due to how hard things got along the line. Responsibility, search for greener pastures and influence pushed me through the path I walked. I had the opportunity to make things right but I guess it was not my mistake.

Episode 1
Life has been tough after graduating from the University of Buea with a degree in Accounting. I had to pack out of my mini hostel, sell some of my stuffs and go back to our house in Bamenda. After a long time it felt so good seeing my dad, mom and siblings. The unity and togetherness made me realize how much I missed them. We cooked, talked, played and had our devotion then went to bed. My mom runs a mini business and what she earns is used to run the home. My stay in the house became so boring to me and the demands my siblings kept placing on my parents began to weigh me down. My brain gradually turned into a search engine with me wandering what I can to with my life. I talked with my parents about it and told them I would start searching for a job and they were happy about that and promised to help me in case they hear of any opportunity. I got up the next day early, did my chores and got dressed up while packing my bag I heard a knock on the door(kok kok) it was my mom. She entered with a smile which was very relieving... my daughter I pray God blesses you as you go out there an even if you don't get the job don't be discouraged you are still my girl and we have a Father who will never fail us. I shouted a big Amen with a returning smile and kissed her goodbye. I felt like mom was the latest motivational speaker in Bamenda but her words were a push force to me.
