CHAPTER 1 : THE DINNER
I was on my phone thanking my advance wishes. My mom started as usual, ''Are you coming or gonna have dinner with your phone?'' I was smiling at the sweet messages, ''My inbox has filled with so many hearty wishes. I'll join you soon.'' My Mom just started to serve the food to my dad and sister. I joined them after ten minutes, ''Oh! Again dosa with tomato chutney. You know that I don't like this combo.'' My mom was ready to tease, ''I knew you'll say like this, just have your ghee on dosa.'' ''Oh yes, ghee is always saving me from that chutney!'', I mumbled. My dad was laughing at us, ''I made a mistake 18 years ago, if I had left you at the hospital after your birth it would have been a big relief for me!'' My mom added, ''Yes, you're such an adventurous baby!''
