Conrad laid in his bed, thinking about the incident in the car. He smiled a little, but then remembered what Rosy, his late girlfriend, had done for him. His smile disappeared. He stared at the ceiling of his room. 'She could never be you, Rose.', he muttered to himself. His voice trailing off at the end of the sentence. 'I will visit you.', he whispered again.
That's exactly what he did, the next day. He drove his car to the place where his girlfriend had died. He saw the flowers standing in the vase and remembered what his father had said. 'Never place flowers at the side of the road for someone who died there. You're always at fault when you die in a car accident.' He couldn't blame his father for having such a horrible opinion. Of course it was wrong for his father to think like that, but his father had lost his mother (the mother of Conrads father) in the same way. And it was her own fault, completely.
